A very good quality oak coffer or bible box on stand, Rupert Griffiths, 20th C.  This style of chest on stand would traditionally have been a bible or offertory box.  Made of carved oak, chest above, drawer below and stand.  With carved decoration to the front, lift up lid, hinges, lock and key, drawer has hidden release mechanism.  This is a beautifully made piece of furniture in a golden oak colour. In excellent condition.
