A Lady’s Writing Desk or Bonheur du Jour, French, early 20th century. A practical desk with a removable raised back, two cupboards with open shelf between, desk with two small drawers below. A lovely desk sold in original, unrestored condition.
Note: the back cabinets could be removed and used as wall shelves above the desk (fixings not included).
Dimensions: H130cm, H67cm (to knee), W100cm, D60cm. Cabinet section: h55cm, W96cm. Cupboards: H32cm, W29cm, D27cm.
