A classic "desk in a box", they were designed by Mummenthaler and Meier in  1928.  This version was purchased in Norway in the 1950s and shipped to the UK, having been in single ownership ever since.  When it is closed this looks like an ordinary cabinet, but unfolded reveals a complete office workspace with sliding desktop, drawers and loads of storage space. Very easy to open and close.  Made of teak and birch veneered plywood, fold out desk top with centre drawer, storage selves and original blue gooseneck lamp.  The desk is in almost immaculate condition with a few minor marks to the desk surface.  It also still has its original filing system attached.

Originally designed in Switzerland c1928 by architects Mummenthaler and Meier, this version probably dates to the 1950s.

Dimensions: H105cm, W82cm  D54cm (stored), W164cm, D73cm (open)

Requires a two man delivery.
