Midwinter Cannes Tea Set
A complete Midwinter “Cannes” tea set, 1960. Made in the rimless coupe Fashion shape, the Cannes design was by architect Hugh Casson and adapted for the Fashion shape by Jessie Tait. This set was purchased as a wedding present in 1960 and has not been used. In very good condition.
Set comprises:
1 x Teapot (chip to the rim - see images),
1 x Cream Jug,
1 x Milk Jug,
1 x Sugar Bowl,
6 x Teacups (2 cups have small chips- see images),
6 x Saucers
8 x Small Plates (1 with small chip, 1 with small firing mark - see images).
