Arts and crafts oak elbow chair with carved detail, c1905. Solid oak, stylised floral carving to the back splat, reeded edge to arms an uprights, turned front legs, newly covered. Carved makers number to the base indicates probably made by Shapland and Petter of Barnstaple.  A beautiful chair.
