A pair of traditional rush seated kitchen chairs, c 1890s. Made of fruitwood with the rush seats that are typical of that period. These chairs would have been used in a country kitchen, and have the typical shaped back, Arts and Crafts piercings and turned stretchers. The chairs are unrestored, and in original condition. They are structurally sound, but with missing sections of the rush seat.
