High splat back Windsor chair, Yorkshire region, c 1840-70.

Ash top hoop back with remainder of the chair in elm.  Back splat with fretted stylised fir trees that is typical of Yorkshire Windsor chairs. Ring turned legs with ball shaped feet. Crinoline stretcher connecting legs. This chair is very comfortable with a well shaped seat and great colour.
