A Victorian Aesthetic chair in the style of Christopher Dresser,  c 1880s.  Made of ebonised wood with upholstered back and low seat, original casters.  The decorative carving would originally have been gilt, very much in Christopher Dresser style.  In excellent condition, newly upholstered in a Timorous Beasties fabric.
